Hi there! My name is Pearl Walters and welcome to my blog.
I am twenty-something years old and I live in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. I enjoy poetry, writing, reading, fashion design, stargazing, oriental cooking, traveling, taking pictures and going on missions trips whenever possible. I’m the type of girl that makes shoe contact before eye contact, takes comfort in the smell of books and relish in random outdoor adventures. I love the color mint green and enjoy reading thriller novels on rainy days. I’m an undergrad pursuing a degree in International Relations at Oral Roberts University which is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma USA. I previously spent a few years in Pensacola Florida where I attended PCC.
Here in this blog I share pearls of wisdom (hence the name, “Casting Pearls”) and thoughts about life, love, faith, beauty, style and wellbeing. I write love letters to Jesus and chronicle in short posts about my life as a millenial, a Papua New Guinean, an international student, a preacher’s kid, Christian and future diplomat. Follow me as I journey through life armed with my camera, paintbrushes, 20+ pairs of shoes, travel journal, reggae/rap playlist and loads of caffeine.
